As campaign season is upon us, the Green Party of Tennessee will need to opportune delegates for the upcoming Green National Nominating Convention. Tennessee Greens will meet online Saturday morning April 27 from 10:00 to 12:00 (Central Time) to vote for Green Party presidential candidates who have met the guidelines for official candidacy set by the National Committee. At this point, we don’t know how many candidates there will be.

This is just a reminder email about the TNGP Presidential Nomination Meeting this Saturday, April 27th. It will be a virtual meeting on Jitsi Meet from 10:00am-12:00pm CST/11:00am-1:00pm EST. The first hour of this meeting will be dedicated to the potential candidates that have agreed to speak during our meeting. The second hour will be dedicated to open discussion and voting. We encourage everyone to attend the entire meeting if possible but understand if you cannot.

For anyone unfamiliar with Jitsi Meet, it is a free video conference software for web or mobile use. There is an app that you can download, or you can just pull it up on a web browser. It does not require you to log in and it is free to use. 

We look forward to seeing everyone that can possibly make this meeting! For those that cannot make the meeting we completely understand. We will be allowing proxies for those that cannot be in attendance. In order to use a proxy, you must: email us your name, the name of your proxy, and your proxies email address for us to verify them as your proxy prior to the start of the meeting.
